Windy Hills Housten SOLD. Congrautlations to Bonnie B. From Delaware.
Here's your chance---- If you're looking for a horse that will be very competetive in open dressage and should easily get into the Top Ten at Arab Sport Horse Nationals, look no further! Windy Hills Housten is a 12 yr old 1/2 Arab 1/2 Quarter horse gelding that will be a great dressage horse! He's 15.1+ hands and is as sweet as the day is long. He spent his first 10 years as a trail horse. Housten has been at Smart Start for 2 months of training. He's a quick learner and loves to please. He's got great bone, good legs and feet, a wonderful croup (he got that from the Quarter horse) and graceful, soft, flowing gaits. The Padron in his breeding gave him a beautiful head and eye. His owner took him to a schooling show after he had been here two weeks and he scored 75% in Intro B! The judge said that there's a lot more horse in there yet, which is what's been getting worked on at Smart Start. As we get him softer and more balanced his gaits have been changing from nice to wonderful - and we're not done yet, there's still more in there! The canter still needs some work for balance and softness, no danger or fear in it, it just needs more balance, that's why his price isn't any higher than it is. Invest some money now, put some time in or have us put some time on him and you can have a really special dressage horse. He will be going back to his owner soon so come see him in a heated indoor arena before he goes back home! He's priced at $6500

Nicknamed Brett after Brett Favre, this 97 grey purebred Sweepstakes Arab gelding is super! He's a National Top Ten Training Level Arabian/Half Arabian Amateur to Ride horse! Last year he was Region 6 Reserve Champion First Level Open (he tied for Champion with another horse in our barn)! He scored in the upper 60s in Training level in 06, placing 4th in the USDF Year End Arabian Training Level Dressage! He has wonderful gaits and consistently scores 8s on his free walks. Brett LOVES people and attention. He's now giving lessons to two eleven year old beginner riders. He's 14.3 hands but his wonderful neck set makes him feel much bigger. He's very light in the bridle and has easy to ride gaits. He has wonderful manners and is a pleasure to be around. Priced at $17,500 this boy is a real bargain as he's been shown all over, from Idaho to South Dakota to Virginia and lots of places in between. He's ready to go out there and win for you!
